Biographies

Duncan Mounsor

Duncan joined ET in 1990 as a service engineer before moving into sales and marketing and became Managing Director in 2015. With many years’ experience, Duncan is often approached by regulators, consultants and researchers for his monitoring and applications advice. Specialising in Environmental Science, Duncan plays an active part in ET’s sales of cutting-edge instrumentation into the scientific and research sectors.

He's very keen to develop ET as a leader of innovative new products to the market.

Duncan has the following qualifications and affiliations:
BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science
Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management
Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences
Member of the American Geophysical Union.

 

Mike Webley

As a co-founder of ET in 1983 and the company’s longest serving employee, Mike has an unsurpassed wealth of knowledge of all things Air Quality Monitoring related including instruments, legislation, UK, EU, USEPA and Air Quality Monitoring laws. He is also one of the Worlds’ leading experts on monitoring technology. 

Responsible for London, South-East and Scotland key accounts as well as overseas business development and sales.

Outside of the UK, Mike plays a major part in ET’s continued export success with ET systems and products now being found on every continent and in over 60 countries.

Mike has the following qualifications and affiliations:

Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences

Paul Norman

Paul started at ET in 1991 in the Service Department of which he became Customer Services Manager, a position he held for 15 years. He has over 25 years experience in the assembley, installation and servicing of turn-key air pollution systems and it is this experience that has pathed the way for a move into Sales. Paul now specialises in selling and advising customers on AQM and CEMS systems throughout the UK.

Lewis John

A chemistry graduate with heaps of enthusiasm. Lewis specialises in our scientific & research instrumentation including ET’s Los Gatos Research analysers, and recently completed a training course at LGR’s headquarters in San Jose. He is also one of the primary operators of the Smogmobile, and is responsible for producing scientific reports and GPS overlaid pollution maps based on the measurements taken.

Lewis has the following qualifications and affiliations:
Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Chemistry
Lewis is a member of The Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC)
Member of the European Geosciences Union

Justine Norman

Justine is the first point of contact for overseas sales enquiries. An excellent administrator with experience of working with overseas customers. Justine often produces complex quotations for customers with very specific needs.

Carol Moran

Carol is the first point of contact for the sales team. Incredibly organised and proficient, sales enquiries are channelled through Carol to the relevant Sales team member for processing.

Mike Smith

Mike is an emissions monitoring expert with extensive experience in managing emissions monitoring staff and contracts plus maintenance and calibration of advanced analytical instrumentation.

He manages the resource scheduling – including staff, timings and required stock – for the commissioning and service of ET equipment. With the UK’s largest service team in the industry – servicing equipment at some 500 customer sites – a key part of Mike’s role is balancing planned and urgent call-out requests.

ET TSE

ET's TSE joined ET as an Apprentice Technician in 1998. An initial stint in the company’s workshop and later, as a Service Engineer has equipped him with a broad understanding of ET supported AQM and CEM equipment, that’s now utilised by ET customers via its helpdesk.

He now runs the helpdesk, an integral part of ET’s customer support service, regularly receiving over 100 customer emails and at peak times, 70 calls day. He is also currently mentoring apprentice TSE, Macauley.

 

Principal Repair & Test Engineer

Our principle repair and test engineer. A very knowledgeable technician with over 35 years experience in instrument build, repair and UKAS calibration.

Becky Davis

A very competent administrator, responsible for schedul­ing our Customer Services Engineers, ensuring that we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Rickie Lambert

Ricky has 15 years of previous customer administration experience.  Working alongside Becky, he schedules service visits for installation and commissioning, regular maintenance and breakdowns.
