OPSIS SM200 Beta-attenuation Particulate Monitor / Gravimetric Sampler*
The SM200 is an automatic particulate monitor for monitoring of PM10 and PM2.5. A filter is loaded into the filter magazine and a Geiger counter detects the beta attenuation before and after sampling. The response time of the instrument is 1–24 hours.
It's a cost-effective solution for particulate matter monitoring and sampling. It can be completely remote controlled and is ideally suited for use in modern monitoring stations.
With a reliable, technologically advanced automatic filter cassette system the SM200 can be set-up to gravimrically sample particulate matter for up to 40 days. After which time the exposed filters (40 filters, 1 filter per day) can then be analysed for composition and weighed for mass concentration. For those who would like data resolution down to less than 1 hour, the optional RTPM (real-time particulate module) uses a laser nepthalometer system to measure concentration levels down to 1-minute resolution.
The MCERTS Approved SM200 is a combined 40 x filter gravimetric sampler fully meeting the EU/UK CEN 1234-1 Equivalency criteria.
