The Smogmobile

The 'Smogmobile' is a the sophisticated, zero emission, mobile air quality monitoring laboratory from Enviro Technology. Fitted with next generation, state-of-the-art instruments, it can measure pollutants and greenhouse gases in real time both inside and outside the vehicle, whilst stationary or on the move.

Available for academic collaboration and research projects.

Applications Include:

• Media events - Emergency response and rapid deployment - Landfill / Fracking
• Industrial Emissions / Fenceline surveys - Urban Air Quality Monitoring
• Studying of in-cab driver /passenger exposure to air pollution - Measurement

Airlabs hired Enviro Technology to test a pollution control system using their air quality monitoring vehicle " The Smogmobile". They were abe to record air pollutant levels in the passenger cabin while driving in heavy traffic in central London over a two day period, and connect the pollution levels to specific times and locations using GPS.
