We are looking for a skilled and motivated Customer Services Engineer to join our team at Cura Terrae Air, formerly Enviro Technology, In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to our clients by installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining, and repairing air quality monitoring systems and associated equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction, reliability of operations, and compliance with industry standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role that combines both workshop-based and field-based activities.

This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work on industry-leading air quality monitoring systems while developing your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair air quality monitoring systems, air conditioning systems, and associated equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.
  • Carry out electrical PAT testing of equipment.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new systems, including customer acceptance testing.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the production team to assist with the design, build, and testing of new systems.
  • Investigate and diagnose equipment faults, recommend preventative measures, and contribute to design improvements.
  • Manage spare parts and test equipment requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company policies at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an Engineer who enjoys working in a role that combines both workshop-based and field-based activities. You should be flexible and willing to travel regularly across Scotland, with occasional assignments in the wider UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to customer service.

Key Qualities and Experience

  • Technical knowledge in servicing and repairing air quality monitoring systems, air conditioning systems, or similar technical equipment.
  • Experience in electrical work, including PAT testing.
  • Practical experience with system installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
  • Ability to provide clear technical support to customers and colleagues, ensuring strong relationships and excellent communication.
  • Hands-on experience in diagnosing equipment faults and implementing preventative or corrective solutions.
  • Knowledge of system design, build, and testing processes is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage spare parts, test equipment, and project tasks effectively.
  • A solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn, travel, and take on varied technical challenges.
