Palas GmbH, a globally respected leader in aerosol and particle measurement systems, has entered into a new supplier agreement with UK-based environmental solutions provider Enviro Technology Services Ltd (ET).
Enviro Technology Services, part of the Cura Terrae environmental services group, is recognised as a leading supplier and service provider of real-time instrumentation and bespoke environmental monitoring systems, for measuring air pollution and greenhouse gases. Adding the Palas portfolio of particulate matter (PM) and aerosol instrumentation to their offerings strengthens their ability to serve their customers with tailored solutions. The agreement will streamline access to Palas’s wide-ranging product lineup in the UK, including the acclaimed Fidas® and AQ Guard systems—both widely praised for their robust data integrity, real-time monitoring capabilities, and low maintenance requirements.
The now expanded portfolio provides reference equivalent (‘Defra’ MCERTS Approved) instruments all the way to lower-cost indicative MCERTS solutions, along with an exciting range of indoor air quality monitoring equipment. The portfolio includes the advanced Fidas® 200, which uses advanced optical light scattering measurement technology and is used extensively on national air quality networks including the AURN. The Fidas 200 and the smaller, more portable Fidas Smart 100 can measure multiple PM size fractions simultaneously in one instrument (i.e. PM10 and PM2.5) whilst also providing additional particle data including total PM and particle number concentration, Cn.
This partnership supports environmental data quality for customers at a time when accurate, real-time information is critical. Urban air quality is a key public health concern and with regulatory demands increasing, technologies from companies like Palas are essential in delivering actionable insights.
