THC-CH4-NMHC Analyser (Model N901)
The Model N901 is a near-continuous hydrocarbon gas analyser that measures the concentration of Methane (CH₄) and Total Hydrocarbons (THC) in air. The concentration of the non-Methane (NMHC) component is calculated by the subtraction of CH₄ from THC, with high sensitivity and accuracy. The hydrocarbons are measured using a Flame Ionization Detector (FID), in combination with gas chromatography (GC). The instruments range and performance are tuned specifically for use in ambient air quality monitoring assessments.
The Model N901 is designed for simple operation and maintenance with a modular hardware and electronics architecture. A long-life stainless-steel fritted filter is used at the sample intake to effectively remove particulate matter without introducing any gas-phase measurement artifacts. Instrument operation, calibration functions, chromatogram views, and data handling are all automated and controlled using the internal NumaView™ Software (NVS) interface, without the need for an external PC.
All TAPI analysers are sold with 2 years parts warranty as STANDARD.
Warranty can, at additional cost, be extended up to 5 years for total peace of mind.
The The Model N901 requires periodic service and maintenance to both satisfy the requirements of the 2 year (or extended) warranty and to ensure that the highest possible data capture rates are maintained.

Enviro Technology and Teledyne-API recommend that The Model N901 is serviced every 6 months of continuous operation.
A wide range of servicing options are available and can include:
- Pre-scheduled on-site planned maintenance (every 6 months).
- Emergency on-site call-out within agreed timescales (i.e. 48 hours).
- Supply of consumable items (i.e. sample inlet filters).
- Supply of calibration gases and permeation tubes.
