How the 136 MultiMet Interface Module works
The 136 MultiMet Interface Module from Met One Instruments has been designed to seamlessly integrate with any of the MetOne meteorological sensors and selected particulate AIR sensors.
Equipped with 12 independent 16-bit voltage output channels, the Model 136 is a versatile and robust signal translator, facilitating direct connection to a variety of other recording systems, data loggers, PLC’s and DCS’s.
Serial output capabilities include USB, RS-232 or RS-485 serial (ASCII), MODBUS RTU and UIM serial report string (ASCII). Analog outputs include 0-1, 0-2.5, 0-5 VDC, and 4-20 mA isolated current loop with optional DIN rail mount, single channel transmitters, P/N 510695.
The Module offers user-configurable statistical calculations, including Averages; Min, Max and Delta Temperature; Standard Deviation; Gusts and Dew Point. Additionally, two alarm outputs afford flexibility, operable as single alarms or combined in an AND or OR logic output configuration
For expanded communication capabilities, optional add-ons such as network interface, cellular data modem, and radio are available for separate purchase, along with a cloud data service.
Real-time data visualisation is facilitate through running the WeatherView Software on a PC or Laptop. WeatherView also offers compatibility with web page displays for viewing current weather data values.
