How it works
The Total Sulphur Analyser (Model T108) Total Sulphur analyser is designed to measure mixed sulphur impurities, collectively referred to as Total Sulphides, in air or carbon dioxide gas. Since there is no scrubber in the system, the instrument reading is the sum of the oxidized sulfur compounds and SO₂.
The Model T108 Total Sulphur Analyser is designed to measure mixed sulphur impurities, collectively referred to as total sulphides, in air or carbon dioxide gas. The Model T108 consists of a modified Model T100 SO₂ analyser with special software and a Model 501TS high temperature thermal oxidizer. Sulphur compounds are heated as they pass through the converter and oxidised into SO₂. When analysing CO₂, which generally contains no oxygen, approximately 6% O₂ is added to the sample before entering the converter. This dilution is corrected in the calibration procedure.
All T Series instruments offer an advanced colour display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/0, and built-in data acquisition capability.
All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports either locally or by remote connection using the included APIcom™ software.
