Enviro Technology Services has been recognised for its innovative partnership offering the most accurate multi-parameter air quality sensor, the bettair®️ node.

Enviro Technology Services has been recognised for its innovative partnership offering the most accurate multi-parameter air quality sensor, the bettair®️ node, winning  “Most Innovative Instrument Product or Digital Solution” at the Air Quality and Emissions (AQE) Show 2024. The event was held at the NEC in Birmingham and this accolade was earned in partnership with bettair®️, for collaborative efforts to bring cutting-edge air quality monitoring technology to the UK and Ireland.

The AQE award celebrates the companies’ introduction of the bettair®️ node, one of the world’s most accurate multi-parameter air quality sensors. This advanced device is designed to measure up to 12 different air quality indicators, ambient noise levels, and other environmental parameters with remarkable accuracy. The bettair® node’s advanced post-processing algorithm ensures high performance, with a Pearson correlation exceeding 90%, even for low concentrations of gases measured in parts-per-billion (ppb). The device’s low-power wireless network capability further enhances its appeal as a smart city solution, supporting the UK’s transition to more sustainable and connected urban spaces.

This recognition came during an eventful week for the node, after also receiving MCERTS (indicative) certification for PM10 and PM2.5 monitoring. Achieving MCERTS certification is a significant milestone, as it demonstrates the bettair®️ node’s ability to meet stringent industry standards for air quality monitoring.

Enviro Technology’s commitment to continuous innovation and public health is underscored by its strategic partnership with bettair®️. This collaboration aims to harness the power of the Internet of Things to create smarter and healthier environments. The bettair® node requires no in-situ calibration, making it an attractive option for municipalities and organizations aiming to monitor air quality effectively and efficiently.

The device has consistently set the standard for ozone pollution monitoring since 2021, addressing a pollutant often overlooked in air quality management.

Commenting on the award, Duncan Mounsor of Enviro Technology expressed pride in the recognition, stating,

This award is a testament to Enviro Technology’s longstanding commitment to seeking out the most innovative products and technology, as well as the hard work and efforts of our teams at ET and bettair®.

This marks a significant achievement for Enviro Technology, reaffirming its leadership in environmental monitoring and its dedication to advancing air quality solutions for the benefit of public health and the environment.
