Measurement Principle
Parallel operation: CASS controls AE and TCA simultaneously. BC is measured optically via AE at 7 wavelengths, TC is determined via thermal‑optical flash‑heating in TCA. OC derived mathematically. Source apportionment algorithms separate biomass vs fossil sources and further split BrC and POA/SOA fractions.
