How it works
The Airyx Open Path NH₃ analyser offers contact-free ammonia monitoring over an open path through the investigated area, covering distances from 20 to 150 meters. Its multi-path capability and automated alignment deliver real-time, reliable data with low maintenance, making it ideal for agricultural, industrial, and environmental monitoring.
Technically, it uses Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) with a UV deuterium lamp as a stable light source and a compact spectrometer for spectral analysis. The fully motorised telescope head enables remote alignment and adjustment along multiple retroreflector paths.
The Airyx NH₃ Open Path Compact overcomes the challenges of NH₃ air quality monitoring with:
- Calibration-free, direct open-air measurement using the DOAS principle
- Extended coverage, with light paths up to 150 m over the target area
- High-precision, high-resolution data, enabling detailed monitoring
- Compact and flexible design for easy, long-term deployment
- Multi-species capability, allowing simultaneous NO and SO₂ measurements
- Exceptional sensitivity, with an NH₃ detection limit of 1 ppb at 100 m path length
Applications
- Air quality and workplace safety monitoring
- Agriculture emission
- Industrial emission and process control
- Fence line monitoring
- NH₃ spatial distribution analysis
